I've never been very good at writing about myself, but here goes. I'm a mid-twenties female living in a very little town in central Iowa. I finished my degree in English in April 2007. Currently, I am a freelance writer working full-time in the coffee industry. I flirt with writing tutoring and am neck deep in a novel that my never turn into anything important.
When I'm not geeking out on writing and other artsty ideas, I like to spend my time researching health and nutrition. Although I don't put everything I read into practice, it is nice to have the background. When this doesn't keep me busy, I do like to spend time with friends and family.

My husband and I have both had the misfortune of working in retail for a number of years. For years, we would come home at night, complaining about the seemingly endless supply of idiots the world had to offer. Everyone in society has to deal with idiots, but retail workers take the brunt of their obnoxious behaviors and are expected to smile while doing so.
