About me - Rebecca Vargas

About me

I am an artist from New York City currently living in Pennsylvania. Like most people nowadays, I have a wide range of hobbies and interests and thanks to the internet, I am continuously adding bits and pieces of useful and useless knowledge to my 21st century brain.

Like painting and graphic design, writing is one of my true passions. I like freelance writing projects because they offer me the opportunity to work with different types of people and to create different types of projects. Every project is a chance to learn something new and to verbally beautify a landscape, and I am always ready to see what's next!

I do not have a traditional background.

I am a freelancer because I enjoy working on different types of jobs and meeting new people. I enjoy not knowing whether my next job will be a short article about aliens or a twenty page translation and therefore, I have many spoons in many different pots.

My main strengths are:

- I value attention to detail and I jump into every project with dedication and excitement.

- I have excellent written & verbal skills

- I am always straightforward and honest with my clients

- I am open to new concepts/projects
