About Me
Contrary to what my name suggests, I am not, in fact, a tetrahedron. I am, in fact, human, and have more than four sides. However, I am three dimensional, much like a tetrahedron.
The tetrahedron and its unique color (lime-red) is a symbol that represents much of my philosophy. Discover for yourself just what the tetrahedron means to you.
The Tetrahedron
Ah, the tetrahedron, nature's most simple 3D shape. It is wonderful in its simplicity. The smooth faces of a tetrahedron all face different directions - a constant reminder to each of us to explore our horizons, to jump at opportunity. Every face of a regular tetrahedron is an equilateral triangle, with three sixty-degree angles and three sides of equal length. This symbolizes how each of us must have mutual respect for others, especially in relationships involving three or more people.
The tetrahedron has both four sides and four vertices - rendering it a symbol for peace and uniformity. We could learn much from the ways of the tetrahedron.
On the Question of Lime-Red
The significance of the color lime-red is closely related to the philosophical concept of qualia. The nature of perception and its interpretation have led to a number of paradigm shifts in this field, namely the separation of the object from its sensory effects. Thus the question arises: Is there a visual sensory perception corresponding to a reddish-green or greenish-red color? This color may not physically exist, and thus is near-impossible to imagine. Research has been carried out in which the brain is "tricked" into perceiving objects that do not physically exist. In some of these tests, some subjects reported having seen a color that could only be described as a mixture of red and green, hence the name lime-red. The lime-red signifies the quest for true knowledge - an understanding of our perceptions and their origins.
On the Question of Synesthesia and the Colour Lime-Red
2+3=5
This may seem like any other mathematical relationship to most; however, it can hold special significance to some. Synesthesia is the phenomenon that occurs when a sensory input triggers an otherwise unrelated response in the brain. For example, the number 2 may seem green, while the number 3 may seem red. Although the synesthesiac is able to differentiate between the artificial and the observed phenomena, the effect persists nonetheless. Thus it is very possible that a synesthesiac can then observe a combined effect of red and green, rendering the final result of lime-red.

Why I write ...
Various reasons, all too complex to elaborate on in this small space. Actually, on second thought, perhaps I will. I write to change the understanding and the views of those who read that which I have created. I suppose that this is in effect an unlimited space in which I can write. In effect, the unlimited space in this narrow text-entry html form component forms a parallel with the universe: there is no end. I wonder if HTML tags work in this context? Sadly, they do not. The line ends here...
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
It is silence that I am currently appreciating - as silence must be appreciated in order for the appreciation of noise to occur. Throughout "la vie quotidienne", noise dominates. Thus an appreciation of silence encourages the appreciation of that which is not seen, or an appreciation of a "negatively-signed" aspect. Reading between the lines and noticing that which is missing can lead to a deeper understanding.
My first job ...
My first job is to inform my avid readers. Through an understanding of my articles, a deeper, more enriched appreciation for the truth can be realised. Considering the interpretations that I have included as guides in my articles allows the reader the opportunity to question their own beliefs, in turn opening themselves to many more possible paths to truth.

The Effect of Idealism on the Individual’s Response to Truth Our ideals, in part, define who we are, and profoundly shape how we respond to the truth. Truths that align well with our aspirations are easily accepted, as they advance our pursuits of our goals. However, the truth is not always convenient; rather, it lies contrary to one’s aspirations, and can even serve as an impediment to the pursuit of one’s ideals. In this case, the truth may be rejected and even forcefully denied in favour of a convenient lie. This latter case is exemplified in Arthur Miller’s adap...
