I have written for a hobby for about seven years now. I am about to have my first article published in an international magazine :)

I work within Hotel Management, as a Revenue Manager in a Resort Property in Lincoln. I love the Hotel Industry, every day is different, but thankfully every day is not like Hotel Babylon

I have an MBA from Open University, England, gained in 2004.

I love travel, and discovering aspects of social history. I am a member of the National trust, and enjoy visiting their properties locally and further afield. I tend to write predominantly travel reviews. I also enjoy reading, cooking and soap making.

Lincoln Castle is situated in the heart of Historic Lincoln close to the mighty Cathedral in the Bailgate area of the city. The castle was built in 1068 by William the Conqueror (not single-handedly I assume!) , when Lincoln was one of the most important towns in England. The site itself had been occupied since Roman times and according to the Domesday Book 166 homes were destroyed to make way for the castle. Now it is one of Lincolnshire's most popular attractions and it is not difficult to see why.
