I'm from Manchester, England. I've just turned 19. I currently work at Wythenshawe Hospital as a Medical Lab Assistant.

I've just returned to Helium after a self-imposed exile from writing. I'm in a better place now than I was way back when.

I've always had an artistic flair about me. I've been drawing doodles since the age of 3 and writing since I was 11.

I'm currently working on a series of short stories and have already started on a novel (slow progress, should be done by the time I turn 40).

Sometimes, I get horrific writers block and it genuinely upsets me. Helium is the place I come to rant. I tried doing it on demand but that didn't work (besides my last 7 articles were rants and are all highly ranked so I guess it works)

I do believe in love at first sight, even if my relationship wasn't as conventional as some other peoples. Our eyes met across a crowded chat room (how much of a 21th Century cliche will that become, I wonder?)

I met my girlfriend on-line (right here on Helium in fact). Sure, it's not the norm but it's getting progressively more common. We got talking about 3am (I haven't got a clue why I was up so late). I remember we were talking about Super Mario, I know, entirely random. But as we talked more, we grew closer.
