I'm 19 years old and I'm currently attending Butte Community College. I was born and raised in the small city of Oroville, CA . In fact, I still live there...kind of a quiet town but it's a decent place to live.
My major is Computer Science and I plan to minor in either physics or mathematics. A Video Game Programmer is what I want to be when I 'grow up'. I've always been an avid fan of video games, and I'm beginning to educate myself on designing them. I've been in two programming courses so far: One in introductory C++ and one in introductory-intermediate Java. Besides that, I've written a few simple applications on my own time, the most useful of which is a dice roller. I'm currently working on a cooking recipe database.
Other than video game playing, game design, and programming, my major interests include science(especially physical sciences), table-top gaming, reading, writing, poetry, and Star Wars. Yes; I put Star Wars in a category of its own. I'm a huge Star Wars nerd.
As far as what I consider the less interesting details go(for purposes of this site), I have no siblings, although I consider my little cousin, Alex, to be as good as a brother to me. I have a wonderful girlfriend, named Cassi. She also goes to Butte College and we plan on getting married eventually.

As a child, did you ever "play pretend"? Most people probably did at some point, whether it be pretending that you were army commandos with nerf guns, saving a princess from a dragon, or even the simplistic "don't touch the lava" game. Dungeons and Dragons is kind of like all of that, except that there is a more clearly defined ruleset governing its play. Typically, 3 to 6 people gather around a table with weighty books, dice, and pieces of paper representing their characters. 2 to 5 people are players, controlling their own custom built character. One other person is the Dungeon Master, or...
