I love writing and I always have. I love the entire process: learning new things during research, organizing information, wording and rewording, and publishing the finished article. And I am interested in so many different things that sometimes writing is the only way I can focus on any one of them. But what I love the most is writing about inexpensive and creative ways to minimize our effect on the environment. It's our responsibility, but the fact is most people are more willing to do their part if it's easy. I want to show people that it can be.

It would be difficult to teach something like sexual identity in a single course. And it would be difficult to stop there when there are so many other issues that are equally important. At what age level would such a course be taught? And how much ground could one course be expected to cover? What would the goals of such a course be? Obviously discrimination is still an issue. So is poor self esteem.
