Work Experience

I worked 35 years for A & M Wood Carving. The business began in South El Monte, then moved to Covina. The business specialized in multiple machine wood carving. Carvings were made for billiard table leg pieces, game wildlife animals, lamp fixture carvings, and a variety of furniture. I worked the carving machine, machine sander, band saw, took messages, and delivered products to other customers as well as picked up work.

Cross-trainee, helped prepare sandwiches, pastrami, roast beef, turkey, tomatoes, lettuce, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, tuna and coleslaw. Also greeted customers, filled in as busser and dishwasher. My contract was seasonal.

Hyatt Regency, Huntington Beach, March 2008-August30, 2008

Seasonal employment with perfect attendance in prepared foods, responsible for prep of the salad bar and set up and restocking. Worked with a high level of sanitation and organization.
