Life is an adventure! While I have not always enjoyed the paths I have had to walk, I certainly hope I can say I have learned from them.
Currently I live in a remote, pristine, undeveloped valley surrounded by nature and wildlife. My nearest neighbor is 15 miles away! I am truly blessed. As a result, I have become a student of nature. What a classroom!
I enjoy the outdoors. My daily walks, surrounded by nothing but nature in sight and sound, rejuvenate me, giving me the energy and strength of mind, physically and mentally, to handle most daily challenges.
Along with my husband and two children who are still at home, I own and operate a small, remote mountain resort. Our summer days are long (thus writing has to be set aside), but our late fall and winter months are quieter.
I enjoy writing. I enjoy the challenge of trying to express myself clearly and succinctly. I love to learn. I love to share what I am learning. While I have had a good education, I consider myself a life-long learner. I believe, we often learn more from our experiences than we do from textbooks. Thus, I prefer to think I use what I have learned to help me move on to what I can learn next.
I enjoy animals, most people :-), my family, and quiet time in nature. I love God, my family, and life. The journey hasn't always been easy, but it has always been educational. I am very blessed!
