Friends, family and fans,

I had not planned on creating more music, however the love of my life has inspired me to get creative. I wrote a song for him, about us. I had not planned on making the song public since it was only meant for him. I was encouraged to let the song air and it has. The song was released two days after it was recorded at Woody's Music in downtown St. Louis. It was sort of a live cut done in one take.

Cindy....

I am a Mother and a Grandmother. I work full time the same job for over ten years and am in the process of transitioning to full time writer.

I am also a singer/songwriter who performed under my childhood name (maiden) Cindy Black. I've produced 2 CDs and attempted various entrepreneurial ventures.  I've had a lot of life experience that has educated me.  I also enjoy informative reading.

I love to travel and to write. I would hope to combine the two passions into a career over the next few years.

medical debt, insurance companies, medical providers and how our health system isn't working

My parents always told me ...

Mom always sang things to us like "Que Sera, Sera Whatever Will Be, Will Be" but Dad always said "drink coffee it'll put hair on your chest" (and things of that nature, he was a joker)

My childhood ambition ...

I was always changing my mind but the ones that really stick out are singer, veterinarian or to be like Jane Goodall and speak to the apes.

My favorite memory ...

It's so difficult to pick one favorite but our family trips have always been fantastic memories. If I had to choose just one favorite memory now it would be when my boyfriend woke me up serenading me with his voice and the song "Good Morning Beautiful".

Why I write ...

I enjoy sharing my ideas and stories especially when they are funny because I love to make people laugh. I also like helping people.

My first job ...

technically that would be singer and saxophone player in our family band when I was twelve, but my first real paying job was janitorial at the school.

I hope I haven't had it yet, I'm hoping the best is yet to come.

Belize is an interesting country with many cultures combined into a melting pot. The main languages are English and Creole. Belize is divided six districts Corozal, Orange Walk, Belize, Cayo, Stann Creek, and Toledo. Placencia is located in Stann Creek District.
