Being Asian-American in the neck of the woods I grew up in, it was a stereotype that I'd be really great at math-I mean really great at math. It couldn't have been more wrong. I excelled in English all the way through school and although I enjoyed art classes, I expressed myself much better in words.
During my 2nd year of college, I had to make a decision on a major to pursue and I thought about journalism or english. Deciding that it would be a hard field to get into, I chose marketing as the "safe" route. Yet, here I am finding myself always wanting to write. The heart never lies.
My husband tells me it's never too late to follow it, so here I am.
The second wedding anniversary doesn't sound as special as the first year and it doesn't really make it to that amazing milestone mark like the fifth year does, but it is definitely something worth celebrating.
