I was always told I was a good writer, but I never believed the praise. In college I was encouraged to write for the department newspaper and found I really enjoyed the process. This led me to major in communication. The beauty of this field is that it's full of opportunities. After graduating, I began freelance writing while holding down my part-time job at a law firm. This career path hasn't been easy in the two years I've been at it, but I'm determined to make it big one day. I'm currently writing features for my friend's jazz site (www.jazzvillenj.com) and creating materials for a start-up media company, but I'm always looking for new and interesting projects to keep me busy.
