I am a committed INFP, a Pisces (one of the pathetic kind as I am not a fan of the ocean), and have been a writer forever. The craving for writing comes and goes, but when it's present it's awesome!
My writing is semi-biographical, usually with better outcomes than real life. I once read how F. Scott Fitzgerald always started out with thousands of pages of writing, but continually whittled it down into an agreeable form. This got me into the habit of working with microshorts, which are so much easier to end (theoretically). I love finding just the right word to say what needs to be said!
Having been involved with writers circles for over 10 years, I love the camraderie writing can bring to a group (if they're not vipers). I actually like having my work critiqued; I don't understand why people are threatened by hearing others' views (they might trigger something even more awesome). I believe everyone's thoughts and opinions are welcome, even if they're not universally accepted; what's more important is that they're expressed clearly.
My advice for those who think they want to write - Put effort into it. I'm not talking about grammar, punctuation, etc. (althought that's nice too). Not everything you write will be fabulous, but you really shouldn't strive to look like a moron. Learn the basics (which can be found in most 4th grade classrooms), and then keep reading/learning.
I've had an article printed in The Writer, and have gotten Honorable Mentions from some poetry. Nothing else has been published, but I do public readings of my short stories every once in a while. I find the whole process of finding an appropriate periodical for publishing a bit overwhelming, so this site is ideal for me at this time.
That's pretty much it. Much Luck to everyone!

Traveling in Providence, Rhode Island without a vehicle? However will you get around town? Easily, that's how! Already a pedestrian-friendly city, Providence boasts one of the most comprehensive public transportation plans in the country. It works hard to get you where you want to go, when you want to get there, and for as little money as possible. The bulk of Providence's public transport needs are managed by the paid-fare bus and trolley systems of the Rhode Island Public Transportation Authority (RIPTA, http://ripta.com).
