About me - Jerome Espinosa Baladad

About me

Jerome attended the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila), the University of the Philippines' School of Labor and Industrial Relations, and the Ateneo de Manila University's Graduate School of Business. He finished a BA in Psychology, a graduate diploma in Industrial Relations, and his MBA degree.

He spent over 20 years of his professional life doing Human Resources and Administrative work mostly in the Manila Branch of Itochu Corporation, a major multinational trading firm with presence worldwide. He wrote a lot, corporate writing-style in English, during this stint. He also learned to understand some Nihongo. And he reads Katakana and Hiragana characters up to now, plus a few Kanji characters, whenever such materials come his way.

He established small businesses back in the Philippines on general trading, retail lending, celfone electronic loading, furniture making, hair-salon, party events/planning, agribusiness, and real estate. He set-up the operation of a small pawnshop business with some partners. For 7 years, he administered with another team member the operations of a small office-based credit cooperative. He markets and sells books on Amazon.com (copy/paste on a new window to check items in his store: http://www.amazon.com/shops/dyerohmeb) and on eBay.com.

He does a lot of volunteer work, which include proofreading works of Philippine e-books from manuscripts originally published before 1923. These e-books include those published during the American period in the Philippines, and now found online on Project Gutenberg.

He serves as the Channel Manager for the Dance Sub-Channel. He loves the Argentine Tango and continues to hone his craft. Whenever the opportunity shows up, he enthusiastically dances the freestyle, the salsa as well as the square dance. Contact him anytime on matters about the Channel.

Email him at dyerohmeb@gmail.com if you have paid copywriting works or collaborative projects in mind. Jerome ghostwrites, too, for business owners who lack time to craft their own writing works.
