I am a dairy farmer and cheesemaker. I like to write and speak at conferences. I am trying to improve my writing skills and have always thought that Freelance Writing was a great way to make money during my "down time" in the cooler months.
I am well versed in organic farming, use and function of heritage breeds, marketing, sustainable agriculture, local food systems, conservation, and about everything else associated with farming. I also homeschool my only daughter and live in a rural community. I have lived abroad and am pretty well read.
Passion sometimes takes over and I am very good at researching topics that I know little or nothing about. In college, I loved taking those long research articles and making those one paragraph abstracts.

Yogurt, yoghurt, laban... These are all names for one of the oldest fermented milk products discovered by man. Most yogurt in stores are what you call cup set yogurt. They are often slurries of yogurt with sweet processed fruits, thickeners and preservatives. Some are cooked to death to make it last through the rigors of a supermarket existence before you bring it home to eat. I prefer living food. Food as nature intended.
