At 42 I have learned just about as much as I have forgotten. Writing is a hobby I truly love although unlike some writers I have had the priveledge of reading on Helium I am by no means the best writer nor am I the worst. I do not consider this site a competition site, although many opportunities lie ahead for anyone with passion and a little knowledge of penmanship.

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and I just love the feedback when I write something that touches someone. In my life inspiration is not hard to come by as I am out spoken and very quick to share my opinion. I don't expect anyone to share my opinion but love to know that I have those who can agree on some of the same issues.

I do not consider myself Dr. Ruth but my most successful articles have been on relationships so maybe that is my niche.

Never in a million years, Did it seem that it could be true, To be without that smile, that laugh, To have to live without you, Preparations they were all made. The plans were all in place. It was the finality of that day. As life left that loving face, It might as well have been, A surprise, a fate unknown, All of a sudden, as we were told, You no longer would be home. All of a sudden, all of a sudden.
