: About Me

I'm Natalie. I am 26 years old. The little corner of the world which I call 'home' is Chattanooga, Tennessee. I live with my husband of three years, and our three cats.

I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.

I love life, and I love to live it. I haven't done much writing lately, but hopefully that can change as I do enjoy it quite a bit. I also enjoy listening to music, I'm a huge movie buff, and I love to sing. I'm currently a member of the Scenic City chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, which is an organization of women who perform barbershop music. That's right, ladies do it, too. ;)

My husband and I lost our first child to miscarriage a few days before Christmas 2007. It defined me very much as a person and as a woman, and is a huge part of who I am today.

After nearly a year of trying, my husband and I found out that we were pregnant again on May 9th, 2009 - one day before Mother's Day. Our baby daughter, Nellie, was born on January 20th, 2010. The is the light of my life. She holds the key to my heart and soul. She is perfect, she is beautiful.. And she is mine. I am so lucky.

was to be a paleontologist (I'm not).

it is something I enjoy. A lot.

The Beatles, Nickel Creek, any movie that might come my way.

My first job ...

was at a movie theatre, slinging popcorn. For very little money.

My best moment ...

was when I became a mother.

sometimes eludes me but I usually am successful in finding its' hiding spot.
