: About Me

Daniel G. O'Leary, published author, 1st book "Blackwatch Tactical Force Five" published by AuthorHouse July 2008. I am a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, the Army National Guard, and the U.S. Army Reserve.

The son of a published writer, I grew up in an environment where I was taught that if I put my thoughts down on paper, if I wrote them, I would be heard.

At the age of ten, I knew writing was in my heart. I've been writing ever since.

A graduate of La Salle Military Academy (H.S. Jr. ARMY R.O.T.C.), a student of Civil Engineering at the Univ. of Kansas, a student of Engineering Science at S.U.N.Y. Farmingdale, a graduate of 1,000 Hr Architectural Drafting Course, numerous military schools, government schools.

In Services; a Marine, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sgt., Drill Instructor, Recon Platoon Sgt., Bn. Supply Chief, a Soldier, Team Leader, Platoon Sgt., Logistics Specialist.

In Business World; Purchasing Agent, Inventory Mgt, Sales, Sales Mgt, Telemarketing Sales, Telemarketing Mgt, Bookkeeping, Retail Sales, Retail Customer Service, Logistics (Warehousing; Rec'g, Inventory Control, Stocking, Order Fulfillment).

I am happily married to my wonderful wife Diane and have three wonderful children (my step-son Joe, my son Michael, and my daughter Anna).

All my experiences in the services, in the business world, and in my family life have afforded me the opportunity to always have something to write about.

I have looked into my heart, found my true passion and pursued it. It is to write and to influence others positively through my writing.

Because it is within my heart to positively influence others.

The question; "Are angels real or imaginary?" The quick answer; Absolutely, positively, without any reservation or hesitation they are real, and they are here! I was born and raised a Roman Catholic (Christian). I fully embraced and believed what I was taught. My faith and my belief has never, ever been absent.
