I'm a middle-aged plus size woman living in Illinois. It seems as if at this stage in my life that statement pretty much says a lot about my life.
The other stuff is that I am a mother of two wonderful grown children; grandmother to the perfect little boy and have a new grandbaby on the way.
I have always loved to write, started out many years ago, as a journalism major. When I couldn't get into any of the classes because there were too many people, I decided that maybe the field was over-crowded. So, instead I got my degree in Sociology, and there's always a demand for people in social services.
Only recently have I tried writing again. I started a blog for the plus size community (plus-size-blog.com), but I use it as a means to express myself on a lot of different areas. I have some other blogs and websites I am working on, but they are not really what I want them to be right now.
