Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I am a country girl at heart. Although it has taken me awhile to realize that. I live rural Central PA with my husband, two dogs, and a baby who should be coming out any day now.

I enjoyed writing in college and Helium is a great way to improve my writing skills. My favorite hobby is reading, so this is just an expansion on that.

I am adopted. From as far back as I can remember I've always known that I was adopted. My adoptive parents, who I consider to be my real parents, told me at a very early age that I was "special" and that God gave me to them. I actually cannot even remember being told that I was adopted. It was one of those things that just was, like the grass being green, or the sky being blue.
