Currently live in Wichita Kansas with my wife, Diane and two Children.
I was a Youth Pastor for five years, while working as a DJ for a local radio station. I moved for two years to St.Louis where I became a VJ and host of a Music Video Television show broadcasted on a satellite network station. and have been in the coffee business for about four years. As a certified 'Coffee Expert' I love to teach about coffee, guide Coffee Tastings and lead Coffee Seminars.
I am a freelance writer, a published poet, fiction, and creative non-fiction. I have a pretty successful blog for writers' on wordpress called A Shot of Literary Caffeine, I am Wichita's Christian Faith & Culture Examiner, (Examiner.com), and am very excited about my writer website, samthewriter.com.
I am currently working on two novels- a scifi novel and a horror novel.
I will soon be printing my first of several coffee magazines, and co-writing a literary magazine.
I stumbled over Helium last summer while looking for facts online about the effects helium has in a persons body. I have been having a lot of fun reading, rating, and more recently, writing, ever since.

I am passionate about the art, I am compelled. I write as an art, and I also write with a mission to bring encouragement and relief to some, while shareing knowledge with others.

Wichita Kansas was rated number 1 friendliest city in America, in list of top 25 by Peter Greenberg and NBC. Greenberg, traveling editor for NBC's Today show, thinks so.
