About me - Dean L. Sinclair

About me

In Turkish, I am an "Eski," an ancient, perhaps outmoded....Born Jan.3, 1932, I spent early years on a farm in Western South Dakota. Eventually ended up with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry as an expert on some organ-sulfur compounds that no one has ever heard of...(Kansas State U. 1967)

Taught college courses various places. Since '75 have been a day laborer, currently a part-time newspaper inserter. 375 SH of college credit all over the country spread from psychology and languages to drug and alcohol counseling represent an investment of time and money that I wish I could cash in at current rates!

My current "hobbies" are trying to learn languages (I have a smattering of vocabulary in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Turkish, Portuguese, Esperanto, and a few words of Lakota,) writing and exploring science ideas.

My major, current project is my "Theory of Everything" which I call "The Oscillator/Substance Model" which can be found under the title of "Chemistry: The Basics." Could use help on this in fitting the ideas to the information available in the fields to which it would apply. To further this aim, I have started a Google Group, Oscillator/Substance Theory. http//groups.google.com/jgroup/oscillatorsubstance-theory.

My best e-mail contact is deanlsinclair@yahoo.com.   I have a "pseudo-blog site" which has some of my science papers posted at deanlsinclair.blogspot.com.

The picture wsa taken by my oldest daughter on her camera-phone and posted on here by her. Almost makes me look human, doesn't it? :)

The Large Hadron Collider: Greatest Physics Experiment in the World Introductory summary:  This writer takes the view that, although the Hadron Collider is, undoubtedly,  the "Greatest Physics Experiment in the World,"  it may also go down in history as the most expensive, colossal failure of an experiment ever attempted.  The writer is of the opinion that, because the scientific premises of the experiments that it is designed to carry out are flawed, the Collider will not operate as expected. The lead article of this title, does a magnificent job of describing the Coll...
