About me? A page all about me? I love it! Well, I am 40 and I am married for the 2nd and final time. I have 3 sons and an absolutely adorable 2 year old grandson. Pennsylvania is the place we call home. Currently I am a Social Rehab Leader for a nursing and rehab center. Basically, I do craft therapy with elderly and disabled residents. It is a true eye opening job. I couldn't ask for a more rewarding career.
In my free time I love to read and to write. I spent 6th thru 12th grade writing in school newspapers. The last 2 years I was feature editor. Occasionally, I contribute to my employers newsletters. Truthfully, I am new to the public writing circuit, but willing to try.
Recently, I have just enrolled in college. Yep, at 40 and starting a new phase in life. I am taking Psychology courses and love it. I am reading and writing more than ever.
Life experiences are what motivates my writing. I feel at ease writing about daily life and life lessons as they are at the base of my heart and the tip of my tongue. I also like to compare idiocracies of life and write about that. I am not a big debater but will give my two cents here and there.
I am not opposed to feedback from peers but be gentle as I am still a "newbie".
Smiles,
Tammy

No one would get an ounce of sleep. The boys would be so grumpy tomorrow. Tonight though, they would cry and be scared. My marriage basically just legalized the sex I was having with my then boyfriend. I was barely 18 the day I got married. The last words I heard before I said "I do" was from my dad. As we started down the aisle he whispered, "You don't have to do this". Oh, how I wish I had listened. The abus...
