About me

In the fifth grade I was unaware that all of the books I poured over would someday lead me to writing. My favorites were Little House on the Praire and Beverly Cleary and as I've grown older I still enjoy reading. I may not always agree with an author, but I am curious about their perspective. I figure either way I learn something. Now, I would like to be able to create works of my own and someday write a book. Natually, in college, where I studied environmental science, I wrote many essays, short stories, and several lab reports. Working with the EPA, Avon, and Alkermes I continued to report laboratory findings in a scientific format. I've always been a science geek of sorts. When I was 3, my dad, trying to teach me about evaporation, tricked me into looking away while he drank my glass of milk. Evidently when I turned back around I said "Dad! Look! It evaporated!" I am fascinated by how things work in our environment, but I also wanted something a little softer than the life of a lab rat. So, I became a medical massage therapist. After 8 years of practice, I now spend my time teaching others how to become therapists while I build my writing portfolio.

Standing at the check out line in the grocery store one headline reads "Woman Gives Birth: Claims to be Virgin". Another cover says "Man Returns from the Dead". If you're a Christian wouldn't it be a sin not to believe the headlines? Stories most of us would immediately deem false at the check out stand are considered to be the gospel if they come from the Bible? Zeus, Athena, and Apollodoes anyone wo...
