I live with my family in a little log cabin in the forest at the edge of Lynn Canal in Southeast Alaska. I began writing as soon as I learned to read and write. I especially like to write dark fiction. I have had a couple of stories purchased for publication, but other focuses in my life have kept me from trying to market my work for almost ten years now. Recently, I've returned to writing, mostly on the Internet as a way to help encourage my daughter's writing efforts, and to satisfy my old urge. I have also just released a collection of short stories, Shy Ghosts Dancing: Dark Tales from Southeast Alaska.
I have worked in broadcasting, as a publications specialist and Web designer, and as a graphic designer. I also build wooden sailboats. I own and operate my own small publications company, Yeldagalga Publications, LLC.
