Cheaper petrol means more traffic. More people will be encouraged to use their cars as the petrol becomes cheaper. Something to think about !

Having said that. There are somethings that can be done at the to reduce the petroleum prices:
*Petrol is an imported good. The price of this mainely depends on the economy of those oil producing countries. Government should find its own resources, discover and dig more oil and depend less on importing.

*How about giving incentives to those people who use less petrol. Less petrol consumption means less tax resulting in reduced prices. Something...
