Bachelor of Arts, Colorado State University
Major: Technical Journalism
Minor: English, emphasis on writing
Originally from Colorado, I moved to Los Angeles about two and a half years ago. I currently work for an airline and write in my spare time.
My writing experience is mostly news and sports, but my interests span all areas. I try to inject my passion for life into my writing. I have covered everything from baseball, basketball and volleyball to college budget cuts and scientific studies. I even used to edit obituaries, which I found to be fascinating. I really enjoy learning and writing has allowed me to do that with every topic. Learning and sharing my new knowledge with my readers is truly satisfying.
I love being outside, be it sitting on the beach reading a book, hiking, biking or walking down the street. The world is here for me to explore and I try to do just that. I love traveling, though I don't do enough of it. I studied for a semester in Wales and long to return to the rainy countryside.
