Dear Readers,
I have just moved out of Los Angeles where I earned a degree at UCLA. I am back home in San Diego now and am looking forward to sharing my ideas and writing with the world. I earned my Eagle Scout award when I was younger along with the Daughters of the American Revolution award. I have always loved my country and enjoy the freedoms that this country provides, most importantly freedom of the press. My life has been a normal middle class one growing up in the countryside around San Diego allowing me a chance to have the best of both worlds. It has largely shaped my views and along with my college education and work experience made me the person I am today.
I worked various jobs in high school as most people did and during college my best experience, aside from college itself, was perhaps the summer of 2007 when I worked in D.C. for the Superior Court in the Juvenile Probation Department. I received a first class education on how those living below the poverty level view the world and how they struggle to cope with the activities of daily life. This has given me an expanded view of life and my experiences give me the ability to understand and digest many walks of life.
I am not always the most articulate writer, but I enjoy being straight forward and getting my ideas across. If you are used to high flowery diction I may not be your favorite writer. However, if you can get around my blue collar talk then I know that my ideas will connect with a lot of you out there.
I look forward to this experience of writing and hope my words will expand your mind and perhaps in the best of circumstances propel you into writing yourself. Feel free to contact me on here anytime. I would love to engage in conversation. Thank you for your time and enjoy!
Sincerely,
Thomas Knepper

Have you ever been to the DMV and had to wait in line? If you haven't done your due diligence and made an appointment with the DMV or you need to get in quickly and don't have two months to wait for the next available appointment then you have a rough idea of what universal health care would be like. It would be run by the government. And we all know how fast and effective the government is. I have some close friends from Ireland where they have universal health care and when they need to see a doctor or a dentist they have to wait months in order to see someone.
