Hello All,

My name is Linda. I live in the beautiful Northern Sierra mountains of CA. Life in these mountains is so refreshing compared to where I grew up - Ca. Bay Area. I moved up here when I was 17. I came up for a camping trip and just couldn't leave. There are 3 lakes within 10 miles of my home, 2 more within 20 miles, and of course Lake Oroville, very empty right now, 35 miles from the house.

My greatest accomplishment is my three fantastic kids. They are so very loyal, have very good morals as well as judgment, and great since of humors! Raising kids in a small town in the mountains is so very different than the way I was raised. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend so much time with them. And the town is so small that you almost always know what their up to!

My working career consist of working in a resteraunt for years. I was able to work nights and my husband watched the children. Due to a divorce I needed full time employment so I went to work for Gensler Lee Diamonds as their credit manager. I only worked there for 2 years. I just didn't like the job. Then switching careers again I went to work for Coast to Coast Tree Equipment. Worked there for 12 years and just loved it. The war in Iraq took it's toll on that company so it folded. I then went to work for a homeowners assco. Loved the job, hated the politics, but that job just ended. So here I am waiting to see what God has in mind next?

Family Code Section 3151 defines the role of Minors' counsel as a gatherer of facts that bear on the best interests of the child and present those facts to the court.
