Here's my question. Why hasn't Jim Carrey ever won a best actor gong at the Oscars? Answer, because he once spoke out of his ass in that famous scene from Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, perhaps. Since 1998 Jim in my opinion has given three performances worthy of at the very least a Oscar nomination. The Truman Show (1998), Man On The Moon (1999) and Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004). Now both The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine received Oscar nominations. Sunshine taking home the Best Original Screenplay gong (and rightly so too). Truman left empty handed with Director Peter Weir ...
