I have been interested in health and nutrition since being recently diagnosed with Diabetes so this is a learning experience!
I've lost around 30 pounds so far due to the 1200 calorie a day diet the Dr. put me on so I'm proud of that!
Yes I've gotten the junk food out of my cabinets and I look at buying Groceries in a whole new way.
I see someone's buggy and think OH WOW at the sodium in those foods they are buying! I can't have that!
So I'm going to be hanging around the Nutrition section of my helium alot!

To puree or not to puree. Which is healthier: Fresh tomatoes or pureed tomatoes? Pureed tomatoes are a tomato product therefore will still have the nutrients of tomatoes. Which being better, would therefore depend on which are needed. If you need pureed tomatoes for a recipe then by all means use them, they are great! If you believe in fresh tomatoes you may puree your own. Fresh tomatoes will not have the added sodium that comes in usual processed foods.
