I am a licensed elementary school  teacher in the state of Virginia.  I currently work as a Title I Parental Involvement Specialist.  I enjoy working with parents and helping them become more involved in the education of their child(ren).  While teaching is my passion, I also love reading and writing which is why I am so excited to be a member of Helium.  I love photography, hiking, my yellow lab (Dakota), traveling, laughing, spinning, playing Scrabble and trying new things.

Asking an avid reader what season is best for reading books is like asking a musician what time of day is best for listening to music.
