I am a licensed elementary school teacher in the state of Virginia. I currently work as a Title I Parental Involvement Specialist. I enjoy working with parents and helping them become more involved in the education of their child(ren). While teaching is my passion, I also love reading and writing which is why I am so excited to be a member of Helium. I love photography, hiking, my yellow lab (Dakota), traveling, laughing, spinning, playing Scrabble and trying new things.

Asking an avid reader what season is best for reading books is like asking a musician what time of day is best for listening to music. The musician may have an answer about what he or she prefers, but it will simply be an opinion. If you ask another musician, you are sure to get another answer. Reading is the same.
