I am a teacher, writer, father, husband, fisherman, surfer, reader, pacifist, and a few other things that I can't remember right now. Writing was my only passion before having my daughter, Darby, seven years ago. Since then my passions ("interests" just does not seem to fit!) have spread out into innumerable areas. I find that teaching is an indescribable high comparable to, but very different from, surfing. As a matter of fact, I find that this funky world is blessed with opportunities for an awakened and willing mind to receive enlightenment.
