I was born and raised in central Illinois along the Illinois River and backwaters.US Army vet 1964-1967, paratrooper. Retired since 2007 from mfg. eng., 63 years old. Have hunted and fished US, Mexico and Canada, for over 50 years.Love to write and have plenty of spare time.I am a published author, Baseball My Opinion , which is my first! I have just recently relocated to North Carolina, Mooresville the center of racing. I have a part-time with Mooresville Tribune and a full time position with the Kannapolis Intimidators, class A affiliate of the White Sox.
My areas of expertise are sports, NASCAR, hunting, fishing(fresh and saltwater), mechanics, manufacturing and home improvement. I have done quite a bit of traveling and know our great country pretty well. Been to every state except Hawaii and will go there when I find Ms. Right.

It is true that Alex is very talented, bu, talent alone is not what makes you the best.A Rod is a very good ballplayer, poor teammate, can't hit in the clutch, makes too many errors, and just simply hot dogs too much. this man makes $28 million a year, and that's just his salary. His endorsement money is hard and difficult to really find out, truthfully.
