The Desire for the Fantastic does not Diminish over Time.

Vancouver, BC. Home of rocky beaches, and a rocking art scene, it's also home base for me, an independent writer and filmmaker with a university degree in English Literature. I enjoy the refinement of literature, art, music, and dance, all wrapped around a decidedly West-Coast soul.

My main focus is on creative fiction, short stories, short films, and poetry but lately I've been branching out. Journalism, non-fiction, even novels.

As a short film writer-director, I tend to watch movies in a different way. Work like Roger Deakins' Cinematography fills my creative reservoir with brilliant camera shots and exceptional use of light and shadow. Check out The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. It stars Brad Pitt, and Casey Affleck, and happens to be one of the best filmed movies ever made, even if that's just my opinion.

At the moment, I've finished a first edit of my premiere short film The Second Coming, an adaptation from the poem by W.B Yeats.

I live at home with my Mom, Grandma, and my cat named Torah. He's a big grey short hair with the temperament of my very own personal bodyguard. Music is my ultimate past-time, my strongest muse, and my most eclectic desire. Speaking of desire. . .
