I'm Jacqueline Michelle Dodd, a twenty-two year old machine operator from Barrie, Ontario. I also fancy myself a blogger, an artist & a writer - all things I occupy myself with in my spare time. When I'm not blogging, painting, or writing, I'm probably thinking about doing at least one of them.

Music, books, art & movies are the great loves of my life, though not necessarily in that particular order. I'm also obsessed with my iPod, coffee, taking photos, singer-songwriters, cigarettes & John Frusciante. Just so you know.

I'm here to read interesting articles by interesting people, write some of my own, improve on my skills, find my writing style & maybe even make a few friends along the way.

Why I write ...

I write as a release. To pass the time. Because I can. There are thousands of reasons.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I'm currently reading Anthony Kiedis' Scar Tissue. I'm watching the second season of Dexter on DVD. I'm listening to dozens of artists, but at the moment it's mainly John Frusciante.

My first job ...

was in the deli department at Sobeys.

My best moment ...

was when I finally decided what I want to do with my life.

I am not, nor do I claim to be an expert on panic/anxiety attacks. I can't specifically tell you what causes them or why one person is prone to experiencing them when, say, under an unusual amount of stress, while another person in a similar type of trying situation does not. What I can tell you about is what it feels like to have an anxiety attack because I have been experiencing them periodically for the last two years.
