My name is Genesis and I am a stay at home, mother of two. I take great pride in being a mother and wife.

After working on my "dream" career for about five years I realized sadly one day how much of my children's lives I had been missing. It was at that point I gave it up, my husband went back to work, and I have never been happier.

I worked with teenagers with substance abuse issues for about ten years and have now geared down and am learning to understand the language of a 3 year old.

I love doing anything outdoorsy and was privileged enough to move up to the San Bernardino mountains about seven years ago. Now I can not imagine living anywhere else. I strive constantly to find new ways to spend time showing my kids the beauty in nature and be able to enjoy it myself at the same time.

For so many people now days looking into adopting children, going overseas is becoming a reality. To me this is sad but very true. Many who look into the cost and time differences in adopting in country and out of country see many perks.
