I'm a young woman who has spent far too much time in the same job. I come to Helium as a place to put my journalism degree to use and to have fun and express myself through the art of writing.

I began writing as a tiny girl in elementary school for our school paper and wrote consistently until I graduated from college. It's time in my life to become reacquainted with my first loves... writing, photography, and graphic design. This Web site is the first step along that journey.

I look forward to learning the stories behind why everyone else is here and making new friends in this great community.

I currently reside in the Eastern U.S. with my wonderful husband pictured with me.

My passion is ...

doing things that inspire creativity... photography, graphic design, and of course writing.

It's not possible to know too much about anything. Be a life-long student.

My childhood ambition ...

was to be a photographer who took pictures for postcards.

summers in new jersey, riding bikes all through the neighborhood.

Why I write ...

Writing brings me great pleasure. It's such a soothing way to spend an evening.
