: About Me

I am 38 years old and currently living in Colorado Springs, CO. For the last 18 years I've been in the USAF, serving in a number of places. I married my lovely bride in 2001 and we have three cats, Gizmo, Petey and Thomas. I've lived in the Springs area on an off for nearly 10 years and plan to retire somewhere in the Tampa Bay area.

I've always had a love of books, thanks to my parents' reading habits. I enjoy reading fantasy, military history and biographies, along with the occasional Helium.com article. In my spare time, I enjoy playing indoor soccer, reading, watching movies and day dreaming of never working again. Ironically, these are the same reasons I'll probably always have to work. Life is funny that way.

When should someone start investing for retirement? Right now.
