Thank you for your interest in learning a little bit of background information about me. I am a college graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. The focus of my college studies were in investments and personal finance. I remain passionate about studying personal finance and keeping up with news related to finance and the economy. In particular, I am interested in helping people gain a healthy relationship with money and helping them to reach some form of financial independence. My other interests include reading and writing about culture, current events, and politics.

Aside from doing freelance work in the personal finance sector, I work full-time as a staff accountant at a local financial institution. There I monitor our investments and liquidity, compile charts and graphs on our financial status, and other accounting/finance related tasks.

Health care reform has been a dominate story in the news over the last year. As the debate on health care reform nears an end, The President, Speaker of the House, and Senate Majority Leader have been pressuring other democrats to pass the health reform bill.
