I grew up as an Army brat in Pennsylvania and Germany before my family and I settled in North Carolina. After graduating from college, I worked as a reporter for a daily newspaper for a few years.
I now work in the accounting department for a large corporation and I still have a passion for writing. In other words, I contribute my skills to a normal full-time job by day, and I'm an aspiring freelance writer by night.
Recently, I've been exploring various ways share my thoughts, experiences and knowledge through short stories, articles and other writing formats. I'm very glad that I found Helium, which I believe will help me to achieve my writing goals.
My other interests include pop culture, especially music and television. I am also interested in politics and social issues.
