I am a 41 year old corporate manager. I have recently graduated with an MBA from Walden University, having achieved my personal goal of maintaining a 4.0 cumulative average. I am proud of that achievement and may go on to a PHD program within the next year or two. I consider myself a very good manager who is fair and objective and able to multi-task very well. I have been given opportunities to travel on business to London, Spain, Puerto Rico and several cities in the U.S., and for that I am extremely grateful.

I am the mother of one son, 1 step-son and 3 step-daughters. My family grew from 2 to 7 practically overnight and it is one of the biggest joys of my life. I grew up in a family with 5 children and always thought that my parents must have been crazy to have so many. I was wrong.

I live just southeast of Tampa, FL and absolutely love the sunshine. I grew up in upstate New York and can't imagine living up north again. My husband taught me to fish and one of my favorite recreational activities is getting up with him, before the sun, to fish in the gulf. I have to say that I am not the best fisherman in the world (if the number of fish actually caught is any indication) but I am persistant. I also love the beach and hiking with the kids and lounging in the hot tub. My favorite indoor activities include reading, writing (of course), or just relaxing with my husband, who is truly the man of my dreams.

I moved to Florida from upstate New York in 1990 without a plan or much money. At one point I was almost homeless and had lost all but a few of my personal possessions. ( I really should have had a plan!) I fought my way back, determined to be a success despite the odds. I succeeded. I believe that meditation and visualization are the keys to reaching my goals and when I look back at my life and how far I've come, I know it was my visions, determination and faith that got me here.
