Actual cookbooks should never become a thing of the past. There are so many good cookbooks out there that to put all of them into an electronic format would take a great deal of time. And each day more get published. But more than that, the books themselves are a piece of history. Personally, I once had a hard cover collection of more than 800 cookbooks. And many hundreds more in soft cover or magazine format. Extreme? Maybe. Did I read and use them all? At one time I picked up and leafed through each of those books. They were each a connection to someone else who enjoyed what I did - food....
