: About Me

Hello all. I am a mother of two great boys ages 25 and 23. I am married to my husband for 26 years and he not only is my husband but he is my best friend. We live in a suburb of New York 40 miles North of the City and have 2 dogs a Rottweiler named Sable, and a Bull Mastiff whose name is Max. Both of them I refer to as my babies...big babies!

Now about me, i consider myself very fortunate to have a wonderful family good friends and a great job. I love animals and have a special place in my heart for dogs. If it was up to me I would have a house full of dogs as I love them so much. Well maybe not a house full but definitely more than two.

I am not a writer I am actually and insurance broker. I manage the insurance operations and customer service of a medium sized brokerage. I am also a partner in one of the companies. Insurance is a very good field and a good career choice if you are thinking of choosing a career. Aside from the pay I like it because it gives me a chance to be of service to others. It keeps me in touch with so much, with people's businesses, their personal life and their success and also their problems.

I like to write because it gives ma a chance to express my thoughts and share with others. I like to read and learn about various things and get other points of view. I love a good debate. Difference of opinions to me are healthy and it's a way to stay in touch and learn. That is why I joined this community.

Aside from animals I love to cook. I love being around family and people. I like having a good time. Going out with friends and enjoying each others company. I love restaurants and good food, good cosmos and nice spicey bloody Mary's too.

I am very open and honest. I like to kid around and play jokes on people. I like to make work fun. I am one of those people who can actually be a manager but at the same time maintain friendships with the staff. Many people think that is impossible to do but it can be done. I m extremely open and invite openness in others. I can be honest to a fault as I am a straight shooter so I very seldom beat around the bush.

I believe that communication is key for successful relationships. It's important in life to be a good communicator, in work, at home, where ever. I am a very passionate person and hold steady to a set of principals that I hold dear. With that passion comes a strong personality at times.

I am definitely not a perfect person but I try to be the best I can be. There is one thing I firmly believe in and that's the golden rule. I approach everything in life practicing that rule. That about sums it up on me.

Honesty is always the best policy. Being honest does not always mean that you have to say something in a way that is hurtful to someone. Some people are afraid that if they are honest they may hurt someone's feelings. But it's how you say it that's important. When growing up we learn through our experience at times that being honest can get us into trouble. We start to smoke at a young age or we cut classes.
