Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Kevin Porter and I was born a military child. Being the child of an ambitious father, who joined the United States Air Force on his seventeenth birthday, I came into this world as a vagabond. Being a transient from birth, I had already called 13 places home when I found my soul mate, at the age of eighteen, in a German girl. There would be two more places, during our three-year long-distance relationship, for me to call home before that girl and I wed. We have been happily married for over twenty-nine years now and in all that time I have only called one place home.
