About me - Christina Good Voice

About me

I've been a writer as long as I can remember. As a 10-year-old I would write fiction short stories about characters I created and used real life situations like I saw in school. I've kept a journal longer than I can remember, and I still like to go back and read about what was so important to me back then.
I love to read, and have been reading newspapers since I was six.
I have to know what's going on around me and in the world, and it's a lot easier now that everyone posts their stories on the Internet.
I'm a writer at a tribal newspaper, but I like writing about other issues that are important to me, like children, parenting, hobbies, American Indian issues and life in general. I'm glad I found Helium because I'm able to do that.
I'm married to the man I've been in love with for nine years, and we have three children. Two 6-year-olds and an 18-month old son. We're expecting our fourth baby next month.
I like to surf the Internet, read news, watch news, watch movies, play video games like Guitar Hero III and Rock Band, scrapbook, take pictures, go to the lake and just hang out with family.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

my family.

I know too much about ...

celebrity gossip.

My parents always told me ...

I could be what I wanted to be.

My childhood ambition ...

was to become a pediatrician and live on the beach.

My favorite memory ...

playing with my sister and three cousins at our grandma's and not coming inside until it was dark outside.

Why I write ...

Because words are the only way to tell how you feel, what you feel and a way to express yourself all in one.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

my favorites on my iPod.

My first job ...

was a Sonic Drive-In car hop in high school. Working at a fast food joint will get you motivated to get a degree and do what you like to do.

My best moment ...

was when I became a mother.

My inspiration ...

is in the form of my three children.
