My wife and I are both retired teachers. We recently moved from Tasmania to Queensland to be closer to our youngest son and family. We have two sons both married, one living in Western Australia and one in Queensland. We also have four grandchildren, three boys and a girl. Our family is a great blessing to us.
My writing so far has been mainly of an academic nature flowing from my education research, masters and doctoral dissertations. I have produced items for textbooks in Maths and Physics and written online courses in Physics and Human Biology. My recent experiences writing for U3A (University of the Third Age) was most rewarding. Despite this previous academic bias I am interested in writing across a much broader range of topics. I would describe myself as a Christian philosopher.
My hobbies include writing and singing both of which I enjoy immensely without aspiring to any heights of excellence. It is reward enough to be able to share my ideas and to participate in our local choir.
