: About Me

I live In the Maritimes in Canada. I love writing and have always found my greatest comfort,sitting outside with clouds rolling over me,and my pen and paper in hand.During the times I am not writing, you will find me in my kitchen, cooking or baking. My simple and down to earth lifestyle is the basis of my existence.
I am married to the most amazing man. He has always been my inspiration and without him I would be nothing.We have seven kids,six boys, one girl. and now are proudgrandparents to four beautiful children.
I have written since I could hold a pen and I will continue to do so as long as I am here enjoying all the things this great big world has to offer.

I recently moved to Red Deer, Alberta to be closer to my son and grandchildren. I am already being inspired by my surroundings, and look very forward to writing on Helium in the coming year.

I believe it is very important to learn the art of cooking at a very young age. Assuming that we all live alone after leaving the nest. At least until we choose to marry. Something that every human being has do do, is nourish the body, we may as well learn to make the foods we like the best. Studies show that we learn more in the first five years of life than we will in a lifetime.
