An author and journalist from Augusta, GA., I have written for the Metro Spirit, the Second Life Herald, and Associated Content. Additionally, I have been writing a book series entitled "Unholy" since February 2007.
As a professional journalist, I interviewed Kathy Reichs, best-selling novelist and co-producer of hit TV series Bones. I covered the famed former punk rock band drummer of Blink182, Travis Barker, when his plane crashed in Columbia, S.C. I broke the news of the crash's cause by publicizing correspondence with NTSB official Peter Knudson.
I have interviewed Stephen Spoonamore, former CEO of Cybrinth LLC, and one of the nation's leading cyber security experts. I have interviewed Allen St. Pierre, executive director of NORML, for a front page story that emerged in March 2009 on the subject of marijuana law reform. I have interviewed numerous politicians and public figures as a part of my work.
Since July of 2007, I have written four front-page stories for the Metro Spirit, and many smaller articles. My most controversial article was entitled Smoking Your Meds and garnered attention from international activist groups.
Some of my best work is related to computers and information technology, a field that I naturally gravitated toward before my interests unexpectedly spawned a career as a freelance journalist. I first materialized in the media as a blackhat computer hacker who terrorized online games such as Second Life. Today, while I am still interested in the network security arena, I am no longer involved in computer crimes.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus, widely known as HIV, is believed to be the virus that causes AIDS. To date, scientists have been unable to isolate a...
