I am a primarily a visual artist but I am also an art dealer, oriental medicine practitioner and writer. I have studied art with some of the finest teachers available and and enjoy writing about what was learned along the way. Because most of the ideas are not available in books and were transmitted orally, it seems important at this time to put them down in written form for future generations. I am currently writing a book on the art process and the use of what are termed "art principles" - these are the properties in art that give it longevity, beauty and value.
